Video Editing / Post-Production
Whether we shoot the video or utilize your existing footage and photos, Horizon specializes in crafting your story through skillful video editing. We will choose compelling sound bites, add graphics, narration, and music, master the sound and color and deliver the final product in your desired format.
Shooting / Videography
Event videography, interviews, B-roll shoots, presentations and more. On location or in a studio. We will match the crew to the needs of your production and capture high quality images and sound that will make your video shine. We can then edit or deliver the footage directly to you.
Turnkey Video Production
If you need a video created from start to finish we can help with the entire process from pre-production on through to post. We will determine the needs of your project, schedule the shoots, edit the video, and deliver the final product that meets your vision.
Our Story
Founded in Austin in 1984, Horizon Film + Video Productions is owned and operated by Chris Westerman. A UT Austin Film School product, Chris created video for Horizon for over a decade before carrying forward the legacy of the company.
Since that time Chris has produced and edited hundreds of video projects spanning virtually all production genres including documentary, promotional, narrative, broadcast, educational, and even fitness video and continues the commitment to quality and customer service that made Horizon a staple of the Austin video community.
We understand that every project is important. Capturing the ideas that are of importance to our clients requires more than just a camera and editing software. We are proud of our responsiveness, which we deliver consistently. We first seek to understand what you need and want and then we execute the project with complete focus until we have achieved your goals.
We provide tools to promote products, train and recruit employees, or enhance awareness and our work with non-profits has successfully proven to bring much needed attention to very important social issues.
